Monas Operational Hour to Be Closed During Regional Heads Inauguration

The National Monument (Monas) Area Management Unit (UPK) closes the tourist visit for two days ranging from Wednesday (2/19) up to Thursday (2/20).

Monas will be re-opened after the inauguration process

UPK Monas Head, Isa Sanuri admitted the operational hour closure is related to Regional Heads Inauguration By President Prabowo Subianto at the State Palace, Thursday (2/20).

Based on the agenda, all regional heads will gather in Monas before being transported to the State Palace by using Transjakarta buses.

"Monas will be re-opened after the inauguration process at 1 PM," Isa said.

Isa added that his side has cooperated with Jakarta Environmental Agency to prepare cleaning personnel with the cleanliness facilities.

Then with Jakarta Transportation Agency to prepare personnel and parking lots, and traffic diversion to anticipate traffic congestion.

"Internally, we also prepare personnel to ensure the area cleanliness before and after the inauguration process," he admitted.
